No shirt no shoes no service? Well fine, I'll just put my feet up on the table then! 

I went to the real estate office with my parents today. Mr. Elephant and I tried to get them a good deal on a house they liked. We'll see what happens. 

When I play in my pack-n-play, all you can see are my feet kicking around...

and around! 

Last night Daddy had to go to a lodge function in his tux. Look how handsome he is! I didn't even spit up on him.  

Mom and Dad can't get enough of my smiles. I keep telling them that there are a million pictures of me smiling just like this on the blog already, but they don't care. Here's another. 

We haven't taken many pictures lately because mom had to work every day for the last two weeks. But on Friday she brought me to the workshop she was giving so I could help out. Here I am with Nikki, who organized the whole thing.

My friend Cheik played with me too...

And my friend Addie danced with me! We had lots of fun and I behaved very well. 

Today I got a new chair. I get to sit at the table with mom and dad while they eat. Maybe one day they'll give me some of that food!

I bet you thought I looked all big and grown up in that last picture, huh? Well, put the tray on the high chair and look how tiny I am! All the more reason why mom and dad need to start feeding me! 

It's been very hot here the last few days, so this afternoon mom put me in the carrier and she and dad and I walked down to the pool to swim. I took this picture myself. OK, I helped mom take it.

Daddy took me in the pool. We swam and jumped and danced for a long time.

And then we wrapped up in towels to dry off when we were all done. I'm going to miss the pool when we move away from this apartment complex! 

When I go to bed at night, I have my head on that pad, up near the mirror. But the last week or so, when I wake up in the morning, I've done a complete 180 degree rotation! It's a mystery to mom and dad how I get this way, and I'll never reveal my secret! 

No matter how bad your day gets, just remember - Spit Happens! 

This is the cute outfit my Granddickie and Miss Eleanor brought me when they came to visit. I love the matching socks! 

Last Sunday my friend Elle and her family had us all over for a fun lake day! They took everyone out on the boat (except mom and I had to leave because we were picking Daddy up at the airport - yea!) - isn't it a beautiful lake?

It was really hot outside, so my friends and I hung out and played on the floor...

until I just plain wore myself out. I fell asleep with my thumb in my mouth and my toy still in my hand, right there in the middle of all the commotion! 

I'm getting ready to start eating real food soon, just a few more weeks! 

Friday fun

Today mom and I had a busy day - we were trying to keep our minds off of daddy being gone! First, we went to the salon to get our hair cut. Mom was happy with hers, but they totally messed mine up. Ohmigosh, like, I look, like, totally bald!



After that we went to BABYTIME at the library. We listened to stories and sang songs and saw lots of friends. It was fun!


Then we went to the gym, and now we're just hanging out at home, waiting for daddy to call...

I'm getting over my first cold. Even though I had a little fever and have a stuffy nose, I'm still happy and playful! 

This week is really sad for me because my dad has to be in California for a conference. I went to the airport to say goodbye to him Wednesday morning. I really miss him.

He calls us a lot to tell us that he misses us too...

HI DADDY! CAN YOU HEAR ME? I MISS YOU! COME HOME SOON! 

We went out to dinner before daddy left. I love going to restaurants with him because he always lets me stand on the table! 

Sometimes in the evenings, when I get really fussy, mom lets me ride around on her shoulders. Sometimes it makes me stop crying. Sometimes it doesn't.

Remember when my Grandfather Lord and Miss Eleanor came to visit me? I didn't have any pictures, but he sent us some. So now I finally have pictures of me and my granddickie! Here I am sitting in his lap:
