Naked lunch?

The other night at dinner I got food all over myself, so mom and dad just took off my clothes, right there in the living room! Um, hello, I'm, like, naked here...

Wait! They left my shoes and socks on. Whew, that's better.

I guess I'll just sit down and read. No point being self conscious. 

The truth is, Mom and Dad thought it was so funny that I was walking around in a diaper and sneakers that they took a little video too... I seem very intrigued with my own little Buddha belly, don't I?

My newly discovered artistic abilities

I've moved to the big girl room at school now, so I'm playing with the 2-year-olds! One of the things we do is artwork - I drew this myself! Can you tell?

Here's my other proud masterpiece that mom and dad have hanging on the refrigerator. A young Picasso perhaps? 

Whenever Daddy has a lot of work to do, he asks me to help him. I have some very good ideas, you know. 

I'm such a big girl now I don't use my baby tub anymore, I sit in the real tub all by myself! Well, with my ducky of course.  

Daddy gave me a guitar lesson the other day. Maybe one day I'll play like him, or like my Uncle Adam. 

I just love swinging in my swing, it's so much fun! 

The joy of having a long hallway in your house...

... is that it provides this great runway for walking and running. And falling down, too. I get very tripped up with that area rug, as you'll see in the video. But eventually I get what I was coming for!

The Gators are playing another basketball game tonight, so I wore my special cheerleader outfit today. I'll be asleep long before the game starts,

but Mom and I did a little cheer for good luck already! Go Gators! 

I got this great new hat the other day to protect me from the hot Florida sun. Isn't it cute? 

This picture is a little blurry, I was climbing on Mom when she took it. But I like it because you can see all my bottom teeth! Just call me Jaws... 

Self-feeding fun

I am no longer content with finger feeding myself. I'm just dying to use a spoon. Mom has to help me get the food ON TO the spoon,

but I know just where to put it!

And boy am I proud of myself! 

We always knew I liked chicken, but in this new self-feeding craze of mine, Mom gave me a whole leg!

I figured out pretty quickly what to do with it.

Yep, me and Henry VIII, we do like our chicken.

March Madness continues...
The Gators won their basketball game this past weekend too, thanks of course to this great dress that Ms. Brenda gave me.  

More hungry hippo rides

I don't know if you remember or not, but last time my Nana was here visiting she took me for a ride in my hungry hippo (click here to see the picture).
Well, this morning I decided to take Beba for a ride. I sat her in the hippo,

told her to hang on tight,

and then took off! 

Here's a video of us in action. When I get down to the end of the hall, I notice that Dad left, and I can't find him! Then Beba and I set off on a mission to find Daddy, and the Hippo is forgotten.
I should also point out that Mom as cameraman leaves a little to be desired, but she was sitting on the floor so couldn't very well maneuver to get all the best shots...


All in all, though, a great Saturday morning!

Beba was hungry this morning so I fed her from her bottle.

Then I had a little nip myself! 

March Madness

The Gators are playing in the NCAA tournament. They won their first game yesterday, primarily because I wore my Gator socks and my orange Gator ribbon. I'll have to get dressed up again for their game on Saturday. 

I have two new tricks when I eat. One is that I want to feed myself. I tried this the other day with a spoon and my yogurt and was moderately successful. There are no pictures since me, mom and dad were all just about covered in yogurt. Can you guess what my other trick is?

... carefully placing my food on my head and balancing it there indefinitely. How's that for talent? 

I certainly didn't inherit this from Mom, but I actually like broccoli!

Mmm-mmm good, and full of vitamins and minerals. 

Ever since that day I walked around with Granddaddy, he and I are friends now. I'll even let him hold me! 

Since I outgrew my old baby carseat, Grandma and Granddaddy Ward had to get a new big girl carseat for me. Look at this, it's got arm rests, a head cushion, even a cup holder! Traveling in the lap of luxury!
