On Sunday, we went to Grandma and Granddaddy Ward's house to celebrate Christmas a little early, since I'll be out of town next week. Aunt Liz and Brian were there too, and we all ate dinner together.

I had turkey and even tried mashed potatoes. Yummy!

But please, I don't want to hear any more about the food all over my face. I'm a *baby* after all!

It's fun to see Aunt Liz, and she always lets me play with her!

And then I opened presents! I got lots of books and toys. What fun! Merry early Christmas! Posted by Picasa
Here's my first Christmas tree just after we put the lights on it...

Then we had a big party and invited lots of people to come help us decorate it. Everyone brought an ornament, and now the tree looks beautiful! Posted by Picasa
My adventures in crawling take me far and wide these days.

Sometimes I end up in places I shouldn't be...

Or can't figure out how to get out of.

But I still go back to the same places over and over! Posted by Picasa

Today we picked out our Christmas tree - my very first! I can't wait to decorate it this weekend. Posted by Picasa
Since we got hard wood floors at home, I bruise my head a lot. So we got some cool foam mats for me to play on...

(If you look real close you can find hidden messages throughout...)

But the mats don't keep me from crawling around and trying to do things I shouldn't. I don't remember banging my head here, but from the look on mom's face I'm guessing I did! Posted by Picasa
Some days mom says having me around is like having a puppy... Posted by Picasa

My friends Bonnie and Joaquim had their baby, David Doral Camps Johnson, on December 7th. Isn't he beautiful?

I was soooo excited to finally meet him. I know we're going to be great friends! Posted by Picasa
On Friday was mom's department's holiday party. Dad and I went and played on the floor,

And I practiced standing up a lot! (Don't worry, the stroller wheels were locked.)

And then I fell asleep, right there in the middle of the party.  Posted by Picasa
Guess what? I'm ANOTHER month older!

TEN whole months I've lived now.

Ain't I somethin'? Oh and by the way, I can crawl now too! Posted by Picasa

I still refuse to break out in a full-fledged crawl, but I'll rock and roll and wiggle and climb everywhere... and I've started to bump in to a lot of things. Here I am with a cut on my forehead and a fat lip! I think it bothers mom more than me... Posted by Picasa
I've discovered that I love cheese...

But the little bits mom and dad were giving me were too hard to pick up and put in my mouth. So now I just take the whole thing -

and munch away! Yummy! Posted by Picasa
Mom's friend Marce performed at a benefit for the Women's Studies Center last weekend, and we went to see her play. I danced along. Posted by Picasa
My friend Carole G. gave me this great onesie with all the pictures from The Very Hungry Caterpiller (which I know as "La Oruga Muy Hambrienta") - isn't it cute? Posted by Picasa

My First Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we all went up to Stamford, CT, where my Aunt Melissa lives. It was great to see her.

I also saw my Uncle Adam.

And my nana too!

Mom and Dad and I stayed in a hotel. I didn't like the crib much this trip either, but it was fun to play in.

I enjoyed my first thanksgiving with my family,

and am quite fond of turkey!

I also had fun just playing with Aunt Melissa's cool stuff!

On Friday after Thanksgiving I got to meet more Reslis! Holding me is Resli Joan, and to the right is her daughter Jennifer Resli. The photograph is Joan's mother, Resli. Imagine that, 4 Reslis in one room!

Later that day we all went out shopping and walking around. But it was really really cold! We all got hats to keep us warm.

And I even got a snowsuit for the cold cold nights. I wasn't really happy about this outfit because it hid my hands, but if you look closely you'll see I figured out how to get my thumb out for sucking.

We went to see Ern, who took care of Mom and Aunt Meliss when they were babies. She's very sweet, my mom was really lucky.

All in all, a great trip. We were all sad to say goodbye! But Christmas is only a few weeks away and I get to see everyone again! Posted by Picasa
