I'm not technically crawling yet. But with a combination of lurching and lunging and rolling, I can usually make my way to wherever I want to be...

or whatever I want to get in to.

I'm extremely curious about everything these days,

and my preferred method of scientific investigation is definitely by chewing and tasting EVERYTHING! Even wicker baskets, blech! Posted by Picasa
I'm also very good at squirming backwards! I just sometimes end up in awfully strange places... Posted by Picasa

MY FIRST TRIP! (Pennsylvania, November 10-13)

We left Thursday morning from Jacksonville Airport. Ready, set, go!

Mom and Dad wanted to take pictures everywhere. Here we are in the airpot. But Dad, the gate's THAT way!

Dad and I hung out at the gate waiting for the plane,

and Mom and I played on the floor a little too. It was a long wait.

But then we finally got on the plane! How exciting! There were lights, and air, and phones, and my friend Joaquim.

Eventually, though, I fell asleep.

Next thing I knew, there we were in Pennsylvania. Mom made me try on winter hats. This one was a little too big...

Here we are, all bundled up. Brrr. Daddy and I don't like the cold!

We did lots of things at Penn State. We saw the famous Nittany Lion.

And we went to eat at Champs, mom's old favorite restaurant. Thank goodness my friend Joaquim was there. We had so much fun together.

I made a new friend, too. This is Sonia, Tammy's daughter.

We all went out together. I ate my book and Sonia ate the table.

And then I ate the menu. And then I ate a teething biscuit.

Even when you're far from home, it's always important to stay up to date with current events.

One thing I did NOT like about the trip was my hotel crib. I hated it. I didn't sleep in it at all.

When the Gators played on Saturday, I still got dressed up and rooted for them, even from far away. And even though they lost.

We took two planes home on Sunday. I didn't sleep this time, so I was able to take advantage of the complimentary beverage service.

All in all, it was a great trip. But I'm REALLY happy to be back home in my own house with my own high chair and my own tub and my own crib. Traveling is exhausting! Posted by Picasa

It's that time again... I'm another month older!

Let's see, how many months is this now?

Nine nine nine nine... Nine whole months old!

Woohoo! (And please, no comments on the hair, sometimes I sleep on it funny!) Posted by Picasa
The good thing about being so "petite" is that I can wear clothes a lot longer than my friends who grow so fast. This is a sweater my nana made me when I was born... and it fits now! Posted by Picasa
My idea of sleeping all night and mom and dad's idea of sleeping all night aren't always the same. Sometimes when mom gets up to feed me really early she lets me come back to bed with her and dad for a couple hours. I sleep really well in the big bed! Posted by Picasa

I'm learning to feed myself... Enough said.  Posted by Picasa
At Lowes they have all the christmas trees set up, and I was just fascinated with all the lights. Posted by Picasa
We went out to eat lunch at Chili's over the weekend. I had my book and played by myself and had a great time in the high chair.

I just LOVE looking at myself in the mirror. Kissing myself?

But my favorite part, as always, was when dad let me stand on the table! Posted by Picasa
At my doctor's visit last week she said I should really be eating more. So daddy told me that unless I fell asleep I had to finish my jar of food. . . You can see what happened next! Posted by Picasa
My friend Ozzie had us all over for dinner the other night. What fun!

I even had my first hot tub experience. OK, fine, Mom and Dad used it as a changing table, but still... Posted by Picasa
